THIS POSITION IS FOR OUR CITY CENTRE SITE.

Double Zero is an award-winning independent restaurant renowned for crafting the finest pizzas in the UK. Voted the UK's best pizzeria in 2023 and recognized as Deliveroo's best pizza in the North West and Midlands in 2024, we take immense pride in our product, commitment to quality and customer experience. With nine successful years in Chorlton, we are thrilled to announce our expansion into Manchester's vibrant City Centre.

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Pizza Chef to join our expanding team on a full-time basis. As a key member of our kitchen, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards and reputation that Double Zero is known for.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and execute a variety of traditional and contemporary pizza recipes with precision and consistency.
  • Ensure the freshness, quality, and presentation of all pizza dishes meet our standards.
  • Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations at all times, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
  • Collaborate closely with other kitchen staff to streamline operations and ensure smooth service at all times.
  • Assist with inventory management, stock rotation, and ordering of ingredients to minimise waste and optimise efficiency when required.

Qualifications: Please note, this vacancy is for those with a minimum of one year experience.

  • Experience working as a Pizza Chef in a high-volume restaurant environment, with a minimum of 1 years' experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of pizza dough preparation, stretching, and cooking techniques.
  • Strong understanding of various pizza styles, toppings, and flavor combinations.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure, multitask, and maintain a positive attitude during busy periods.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative kitchen environment.
  • Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 2 or above) is essential.
  • Passion for crafting exceptional pizzas that delight our customers.
