If the answer is yes, this could be the opportunity for you!

The Senior Commercial Manager Opportunity:

  • Provide expert contractual and commercial advice to project teams, clients and key stakeholders.
  • Lead interim applications, valuations, payments, claims and commercial agreements, protecting contractual entitlements.

  • Lead, mentor and develop the wider Commercial team, providing guidance and support to Commercial Managers, Senior Quantity Surveyors, Quantity Surveyors and Assistant Quantity Surveyors.
  • Build strong relationships and negotiate effectively with clients, subcontractors and consultants to achieve positive commercial outcomes.
  • Ensure robust contract governance, risk management and commercial controls are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.

What skills & experience are we looking for?

  • Experience managing live subcontract packages under NEC contracts.
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying; RICS membership is desirable but not essential.
  • Previous experience delivering large infrastructure projects, including long linear infrastructure and/or high-voltage (HV) projects.
  • Experience working on power, energy or infrastructure projects.
  • The ability to manage commercial risk while driving project performance.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to lead commercial performance and manage risk effectively.
