Job Title: Independent Financial Advisor

Location: Dorset/Hampshire

Basic Salary: Up to £60,000

Hours: Mon - Fri/Flexible

Experience:

  • A minimum of 2 years experience as an Independent Financial Adviser, Financial Planner or Wealth Adviser within an independent financial planning environment.
  • Level 4 Diploma qualified as a minimum (working towards Chartered status would be advantageous but not essential).
  • A proven ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships through excellent communication and service.
  • Experience conducting holistic financial reviews and delivering tailored financial planning advice across pensions, investments and protection.
  • Sound technical knowledge of financial products, investment solutions and current FCA regulations.
  • Comfortable developing new business through networking, referrals and professional connections.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage a busy client diary and prioritise workloads effectively.
  • A proactive, professional and client-focused approach, with a genuine passion for delivering outstanding financial advice.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Manage and develop relationships with an existing portfolio of clients, providing a consistently high level of service.
  • Meet with clients to conduct regular reviews and discuss new financial planning opportunities
  • Understand clients' financial circumstances and objectives to deliver tailored financial planning advice.
  • Recommend suitable investment solutions in line with client needs and regulatory requirements.
  • Build strong relationships with professional introducers, including solicitors and accountants, and support business development activities.
  • Continue to grow your client portfolio through referrals, networking and other agreed business development initiatives.
  • Keep up to date with financial products, industry developments and FCA regulations.
  • Maintain accurate client records and documentation, ensuring all advice remains compliant.
  • Provide ongoing support to clients, keeping them informed of any changes that may impact their financial plans.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and the overall client experience.
