Salary: £54,143 - £56,293 per annum
Hours per week: 37 hours
Interview date: Week Commencing 12th October 2026
This is an exciting time to join Wiltshire Council Housing. We manage around 5,300 homes and are investing significantly in our housing stock, services and communities to ensure our homes remain safe, sustainable and fit for the future.
We're looking for an experienced Property Investment & Compliance Manager to lead the delivery of property services, compliance and investment programmes across our housing portfolio. As a key member of the Housing Service Senior Management Team, you'll help shape the future direction of the service, influence strategic decision-making and play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality homes and services for residents.
Leading a team of around 30 colleagues, you'll create a high-performing, customer-focused culture, providing clear leadership, support and accountability across the service. You'll develop and motivate teams, build capability, drive performance and ensure colleagues are equipped to deliver excellent outcomes for residents. You'll oversee repairs, maintenance, voids, compliance and investment activities, ensuring services are efficient, customer-focused and deliver excellent value for money. Responsible for service performance, budget management and contractor delivery, you'll ensure our homes continue to meet all landlord health, safety and regulatory requirements. Working closely with residents, contractors, councillors and senior stakeholders, you'll lead service improvement initiatives, respond to complex housing challenges including damp and mould and disrepair, and help develop investment plans and business cases that support the long-term performance of our housing assets.
We're seeking a highly motivated property professional with substantial experience in housing, asset management, property maintenance or construction. You'll bring strong leadership, contract and budget management skills, together with excellent knowledge of property compliance, building safety and service delivery within a complex operational environment. You'll be an experienced and resilient people manager with a proven ability to lead through change, address performance issues, develop talent and build engaged, accountable teams. You'll be an exceptional communicator, confident presenting reports, analysing performance information and building effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. Comfortable using digital systems and data to support decision-making, you'll combine strong commercial awareness with a commitment to customer service and continuous improvement.
This is a unique opportunity to lead a significant operational service, influence the future of housing property services across Wiltshire and make a lasting difference to homes, communities and customer outcomes.
