About Our Client

New opportunity for a Japanese Speaking Finance Manager to join an established business, based in Woking.

Job Description

  • Assist the Managing Director in the annual budget planning and maintenance. Analyse financial performance against key business metrics and document pertinent financial highlights that will enable management to determine progress against budget.
  • Managing the company's financial accounting, monitoring and reporting systems; supervising the maintenance of accurate sales ledger, purchase ledger and nominal ledger in accordance with UK accounting practice.
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts.
  • Produce the monthly financial report according to the appropriate timescales required.
  • Provide financial Key Performance Indicator (KPI) data.
  • Prepare regularly a cash flow forecast and monthly budget of all accounts payable, and advise the Managing
  • Director of any cash flow problem which may arise.
  • Monitoring and interpreting cash flow and predicting future trends, analysing changes and advising accordingly.
  • Identifying the potential for making financial savings.

The Successful Applicant

  • Japanese speaker/communicator essential - must be fluent in English and Japanese (both written and oral)
  • Previous experience in similar accountancy role required
  • Qualifications: Ideally fully qualified in AAT,ACCA/CIMA or recognised equivalent. Part qualified also considered.
  • Self-proficient with strong work ethic and good organisational skills.
  • Adept computer skills including excel and word (minimum level Excel: intermediate. Advanced level preferred).
