Full job description

A SysAid Developer, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the GBS SysAid platform to meet the support needs for GBS.

Please note, this role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Main Responsibilities

  • SysAid Configuration and Administration
    • Configure and customize the SysAid platform based on organizational needs.
    • Administer user accounts, roles, and permissions within SysAid.

  • Incident Management
    • Oversee and manage the incident management process within SysAid.
    • Work closely with the IT support team to ensure timely resolution of incidents.

  • Service Request Management
    • Implement and optimize service request workflows in SysAid.
    • Collaborate with different departments to understand and meet their service request requirements.

  • Problem Management
    • Assist in the identification and resolution of recurring IT issues.
    • Analyse problem trends and work towards improving overall system stability.

  • Change Management
    • Implement and manage change management processes within SysAid.
    • Ensure that changes are documented, tested, and implemented with minimal disruption.

  • Asset Management
    • Maintain an accurate inventory of IT assets using SysAid’s asset management features.
    • Track the lifecycle of hardware and software assets.

  • Reporting and Analysis
    • Generate and analyse reports to evaluate the performance of the IT service desk.
    • Provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

  • Integration and Automation
    • Integrate SysAid with other IT systems and tools as needed.
    • Implement automation scripts or workflows to streamline processes.
  • User Training and Support
    • Provide training to end-users on using SysAid for incident reporting and service requests.
    • Offer support and troubleshooting assistance to SysAid users.



  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.


  • Proven experience as a SysAid Administrator or in a similar ITSM role.
  • Familiarity with ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) principles.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in configuring and administering SysAid.
  • Knowledge of ITSM best practices and industry standards.
  • Scripting and automation skills (e.g., JavaScript, PowerShell) are a plus.

Communication Skills:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical users.


  • Analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot and solve complex IT issues.

Team Collaboration:

  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and departments.


  • Relevant certifications in ITSM or SysAid administration are advantageous.
