Job Purpose/Role: As a Production Operative, you will be responsible for assembling and inspecting products to ensure we deliver the highest quality to our customers. Maintaining a safe and efficient work area is essential, including a heightened awareness of health and safety and active participation in our continuous improvement scheme.


Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Comply with all company Health and Safety policies and procedures.
  • Assist Floor Leaders in setting up the room for production runs.
  • Follow instructions from packing specs and Floor Leaders.
  • Maintain pace with a fast-moving team and production standards.
  • Handle production room equipment safely.
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly workplace.
  • Ensure the integrity of food safety and quality systems through proactive reporting and prevention.
  • Comply with the company’s requirements for the use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
  • Maintain high levels of personal hygiene.
  • Work any shift if requested.
  • Perform additional responsibilities and duties as assigned by Floor Leaders.

Requirements & Skills:

  • Willingness to work any assigned shift.
  • Manufacturing experience is desirable but not essential.
  • Proficiency in English for Health and Safety purposes.
  • Strong verbal communication skills.
  • Team player and self-starter.
  • Adaptable to change and able to prioritise tasks.

Additional Information:

  • Personal clothing is allowed, but strict health & safety procedures must be followed to avoid cross-contamination. Jewellery, watches, rings, earrings, false nails, nail varnish, or false eyelashes are not permitted on the production floor. Shorts or skirts must be on or below the knee.
