Jewellery Sales Assistant at Ian Gallacher Jewellers

Are you an enthusiastic, customer-focused individual ready to fulfil your career ambition within the prestigious jewellery trade? Ian Gallacher Jewellers is expanding our experienced sales team and seeking an exceptional individual to join our business.

The Role: Jewellery Sales Assistant

We are looking for a committed and confident professional who thrives in a luxury retail environment. You will be instrumental in delivering an outstanding, personalised sales experience for our clientele, fostering lasting relationships built on trust and expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Engagement: Provide exceptional, one-to-one customer service, guiding clients through the selection and purchase of high-value jewellery.
  • Sales Performance: Achieve and strive to exceed sales targets within a fast-paced, challenging environment.
  • Product Expertise: Proactively expand your retail and product knowledge across our collections, including manufacture and design principles.
  • Brand Representation: Act as an ambassador for Ian Gallacher Jewellers, maintaining impeccable standards of professionalism and presentation.
  • Team Collaboration: Work effectively as part of our experienced sales team, supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive store environment.

Essential Requirements

We are dedicated to employing the right candidate who possesses the following:

  • Experience: A minimum of two years' proven experience in either:
  • One-to-one high-value customer sales (in any luxury or specialised retail sector).
  • Direct experience within the jewellery industry (retail, manufacture, or design).
  • Customer Focus: A natural ability to connect with people and deliver excellent customer service at all times.
  • Confidence & Commitment: Highly confident, committed, and eager to take on new challenges and continuously expand knowledge.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable and effective working in a fast-paced environment.

Working Schedule

  • Pattern: 5 days out of 7.
  • Fixed Days Off: You will have Sunday off plus one set day off during the week.

References required - One Professional and One Character reference.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to £30,000.00 per year
