We are based in Highbridge, Somerset and have been supporting farmers in the UK for the last half decade, sponsoring local livestock markets and supporting agricultural events.

Main purpose of role:

In the role, you will be based at our Highbridge, Somerset headquarters and you will be responsible for building relationships with new and existing customers, increasing turnover and margin through telephone sales, quotations, and working alongside the external sales team.

Key Responsibilities:

· Convert sales opportunities in order to achieve and exceed sales targets

· Provide a consistently high level of customer service to all customers

· Commit to and achieve all departmental performance related targets

· Promoting benefits of products and services

· Have a continuous improvement outlook and be proactive in sharing ideas to contribute to growth of the sales department

Essential Skills

· Resilient, can work under pressure and confident to make decisions

· Attention to detail and has effective communication and interpersonal skills

· Comfortable at making outbound telephone calls, following up quotations to a positive result. Negotiating with both existing and new prospect customers

· Able to handle objections and turn around to a positive outcome

· Fit into the Briarwood Sales Team as well as working closing with all other departments

Hours of work:

Monday to Friday 08.30 to 17.00 hrs

Starting £27K pa
