About the Role

Information Tech Consultants Ltd is looking for a skilled and motivated Junior Java Developer to join our growing engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Core Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Microservices, with the ability to work on scalable enterprise-level applications.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with a UK-based technology consultancy delivering solutions to globally recognized Fortune 500 & FTSE 100 clients.

Information Tech Consultants Ltd is a UK-based IT consultancy working with global clients, including Fortune 500 & FTSE 100 companies, delivering innovative software and enterprise technology solutions.

Please Note: This role requires a minimum of 2-3 years of Java experience. Applications from freshers without relevant industry experience will not be considered. Also, Candidates must be open to relocation within the UK

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain Java-based backend applications
  • Build RESTful APIs and work on microservices architecture
  • Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize existing applications
  • Collaborate with development teams to deliver high-quality solutions
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code
  • Participate in code reviews and technical discussions

Required Skills

  • Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot
  • Knowledge of REST APIs and Microservices
  • Experience with Hibernate, JPA, and SQL databases
  • Familiarity with MySQL / PostgreSQL
  • Experience with Git, Maven, and Gradle
  • Basic understanding of Docker
  • Good understanding of OOP concepts and multithreading

Candidate Requirements

  • 3–7 years of professional experience in Java development
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science / IT
  • Strong backend development experience using Java and Spring Boot
  • Experience with databases, REST APIs, and microservices
  • Willingness to relocate within the UK, if required
  • Available to start on 14th July 2026 or within a short notice period
  • Immediate joiners will be given preference
