Job Overview

As a Kitchen Fitter/Carpenter, you’ll prepare, fit and finish kitchen components, combining careful measuring with practical installation skills. You’ll work with materials and tools to complete tasks neatly, safely and in line with the agreed design. Your impact: accurate fitting helps customers use a well-finished kitchen and enables colleagues to coordinate follow-on work smoothly.

Responsibilities

  • Measure spaces, prepare components and carry out fabrication, assembly, carpentry and joinery for kitchen installations.
  • Use hand tools and power tools to fit units, worktops and associated fixtures, checking alignment and finish as you go
  • Handle materials and heavy lifting carefully, keep the work area organised, and report issues that could affect installation quality or progress.

Skills

Required: Practical carpentry and joinery skills, confident use of hand and power tools, and the ability to measure, assemble and fit components accurately. You should handle materials safely and work carefully through installation and finishing tasks. Preferred: Experience with fabrication, plumbing, electrical work, roofing, masonry or construction painting can support a broader range of kitchen fitting duties.

Pay: £120.00-£200.00 per day
