Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and energetic General Labourer with a passion for landscaping and playground installation to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces, supporting construction and playground projects Your hands-on approach, mechanical aptitude, and enthusiasm will help us deliver exceptional results for our clients. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in landscaping, and construction while working in a fast-paced environment that values teamwork and initiative.

Duties

  • Assist with landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, planting, mulching, and pruning to keep outdoor areas vibrant and healthy
  • Operate power tools such as hedge trimmers, blowers, and lawnmowers safely and efficiently
  • Use hand tools like shovels, rakes,
  • Support construction projects by operating equipment such as excavators and assisting with site preparation and clean-up
  • Turning up on time every day
  • Must have CSCS CARD AND DBS CERTIFIED
  • Conduct routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure safety
  • Follow safety protocols at all times while working outdoors or with machinery to prevent accidents or injuries

Experience

  • Prior experience in landscaping is highly desirable
  • Mechanical knowledge or experience operating machinery like excavators or power tools is a strong plus
  • Familiarity with basic construction techniques will enhance your effectiveness in the role
  • Hands-on experience with maintenance tasks related to outdoor environments or construction sites is beneficial
  • Knowledge of plant care, groundskeeping practices, or horticultural principles will support your success in maintaining healthy landscapes
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining high safety standards
