China Print Supplies UK Ltd is a growing UK supplier of industrial UV printers, cutting tables, plotters, and digital print equipment. We specialise in supplying and supporting advanced print technology for sign makers, print companies, exhibition businesses, manufacturers, and commercial print providers across the UK.

We are looking for a hands-on, technically minded Installation & Training Engineer to install large format print equipment across the UK and deliver professional customer training and support.

This is an exciting opportunity for somebody who enjoys travelling, problem solving, working with technology, and helping customers get the very best from their equipment.

The Role

You will be responsible for delivering, installing, commissioning, and training customers on a range of equipment including:

  • Large format UV flatbed printers
  • UV hybrid printers
  • Roll-to-roll printers
  • DTF and UV DTF printers
  • Digital cutting tables
  • Graphtec plotters and finishing equipment

The role involves nationwide travel and occasional overnight stays. You will be representing China Print Supplies UK Ltd on customer sites and will play a key role in delivering an excellent customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver and install large format print equipment at customer premises across the UK
  • Assemble, configure, and commission machinery
  • Install RIP software, drivers, and workflow software
  • Calibrate and test machines to ensure correct operation
  • Provide full operator training to customers
  • Explain machine maintenance procedures and best practices
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues on-site and remotely
  • Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repair work when required
  • Liaise with the sales and technical support teams
  • Complete installation reports and service documentation
  • Maintain a professional and customer-focused attitude at all times

RequirementsEssential

  • Strong technical and practical skills
  • Confident using computers, software, and networking
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Ability to travel nationwide and stay away when required
  • Problem-solving mindset with good attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently

Desirable

  • Experience with large format printers, UV printers, plotters, CNC equipment, or finishing equipment
  • Experience within the sign making, print, graphics, or exhibition industries
  • Knowledge of RIP software and colour management
  • Electrical or mechanical engineering experience
  • Experience training customers on technical equipment
