About us

Armstrongs Accountants is a firm of Chartered Accountants servicing clients ranging from multinationals to sole traders. The practice has been operating since 2013. We have a friendly and relax office environment and encourage our team to develop their potential.

Job Summary

Armstrongs are seeking a motivated and proactive accounts assistant as well as a trainee.

The varied role will include:

  • Preparation of sole trader, partnership and company accounts
  • Assistance on audits
  • Preparation of personal and corporation tax returns
  • Preparation of VAT returns
  • Bookkeeping work

Our ideal candidate will have the following attributes:

  • Strong IT skills. Advanced excel knowledge would be advantageous
  • Excellent customer service skills & able to communicate at all levels
  • Professional telephone manner
  • Be highly accurate, numerate, well organised and able to work under pressure
  • Able to work under their own initiative and perform the role with minimum supervision

Training will be provided for the successful candidate where required.

Full time or part time and flexible hours available

Salary will be dependent on qualifications and experience.
