This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is patient, adaptable and committed to making a genuine difference to the lives of young people.
Key Responsibilities

- Support learners with academic, social and emotional development.
- Encourage positive behaviour, engagement and attendance.
- Build positive and professional relationships with students.
- Assist with educational visits and off-site learning activities where required.
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff and other professionals to support student progress.
- Contribute to reviews, meetings and discussions relating to student wellbeing and achievement.
- Help create a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements
- A minimum of 30 days' experience working with children or young people.
- Experience supporting students with SEMH needs, SEND or challenging behaviour is desirable.
- A full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle is essential.
- Ability to travel between sites across Gloucestershire.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- A calm, resilient and proactive approach.
- Genuine passion for supporting young people to thrive.
What We Offer
- Competitive salary of £25,787 per annum (Actual Salary, Term Time Only).
- Permanent, full-time employment.
- Ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
- Dedicated support throughout the recruitment process.
- Opportunity to make a meaningful and lasting impact on young people's lives.
