Active Tameside is a registered charity. We’re here to inspire the people of Tameside into living healthier, happier and more active lives.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Dance Coach to join our successful Active Tameside coaches in schools team. The coaches in schools scheme operates in over 60 primary schools in Tameside and has been established for over 20 years. It prides itself in the delivery of high quality PE lessons and pupil attainment along with giving young people many opportunities to take part in after school sport & physical activity clubs.

As one of our Dance Coaches you will be responsible for the planning and delivery of high quality Dance lessons linked to the PE national curriculum in local Tameside and High Peak schools. You will assess children on a half termly basis to aid pupil development and attainment along with providing excellent customer service to all partner schools.

You must have a Dance related degree or equivalent in the relevant field or have relevant professional dance qualifications with IDTA, RAD, ISTD to apply for this role.

In return we can offer you the opportunity to play a major role in the provision of an excellent service. Ongoing training and development will be provided.
