OTE: £36,000+ Reports to: Treatments Manager

Overall Job Purpose

We offer a holistic approach to wellbeing, rooted in nature and guided by a philosophy of mindful living. Our treatments combine nurturing touch, natural ingredients, and thoughtful rituals to restore balance and promote deep relaxation.

As a Spa Therapist, you will deliver exceptional face and body treatments in line with established treatment protocols, following comprehensive in-house training. You will also provide a range of holistic therapies, including hot stone massage, chakra balancing, and crystal healing, ensuring each treatment is tailored to individual needs while delivering a luxurious and results-driven experience.

This role requires a calm, intuitive, and highly professional individual who is passionate about wellness and dedicated to delivering a deeply personalised guest experience.

Main Responsibilities

Treatment Delivery & Technical Expertise

• Perform face and body treatments to the required brand and service standards following full training.
• Tailor treatments to individual guest needs while maintaining consistency and treatment integrity.
• Demonstrate a detailed understanding of anatomy and physiology.
• Deliver holistic therapies, including hot stone massage, chakra balancing, and crystal healing, to a high standard.

Guest Experience & Care

• Create a tranquil, welcoming, and restorative environment for every guest.
• Conduct thorough consultations and provide expert aftercare advice to support ongoing wellbeing.
• Build strong guest relationships, encouraging repeat visits and long-term loyalty.
• Anticipate and respond to guest needs with professionalism, warmth, and empathy.

Professional Standards & Compliance

• Maintain the highest standards of hygiene, safety, and professionalism at all times.
• Uphold discretion and confidentiality in all guest interactions and records.
• Maintain accurate guest records and detailed treatment notes in line with company procedures.
• Prepare treatment rooms to impeccable standards before and after each appointment.

Product Knowledge & Retail Sales

• Develop a strong understanding of products, ingredients, and holistic wellness philosophies.
• Confidently recommend retail products to support individual wellbeing goals.
• Act as a brand ambassador, representing company values and wellness principles in all interactions.
• Support retail targets through knowledgeable and personalised product recommendations.

Team Contribution & Spa Operations

• Support spa events, wellness workshops, and promotional activities as required.
• Work collaboratively with the wider spa team to ensure smooth and efficient daily operations.
• Contribute positively to team culture and support colleagues where needed.

Person Specification

Qualifications

• Recognised Level 3 qualification in Beauty Therapy or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years’ spa experience.
• NVQ/SVQ Level 3 or equivalent (e.g. ITEC, BTEC, CIDESCO).
• Facial qualification (e.g. VTCT Level 2 Award in Facial Massage and Skin Care, ITEC Level 3 in Facials, or equivalent).
• Lymphatic Drainage qualification or Level 3 qualification in Full Body Massage or Sports Massage (ITEC, VTCT, BTEC Level 3 or equivalent).
• Desirable: Nail Technician qualification.
• Desirable: Qualifications in waxing, eyebrow treatments, and lash lift treatments.

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

• Experience delivering holistic therapies, including hot stone massage.
• Knowledge of chakra balancing and crystal healing is desirable.
• Passion for holistic wellbeing and natural therapies.
• Strong understanding of guest care and luxury service standards.
• Excellent treatment delivery and consultation skills.

Pay: £30,500.00-£36,000.00 per hour
