Alpha Group – Watch servicing & refurbishment centre

Job Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Watchmaker / Case assembler to join our team at our brand-new, state-of-the-art servicing centre in London Farringdon. This role offers the opportunity to work with some of the world’s most prestigious luxury watch brands, including Cartier, Rolex, Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet, and Richard Mille.

Responsibilities

  • Perform full servicing and repairs on luxury timepieces, ensuring adherence to the highest standards of craftsmanship.
  • Disassemble, clean, lubricate, and reassemble movements to restore watches to optimal working condition.
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical and technical issues in a variety of luxury watch models.
  • Service basic Omega / Rolex watches.
  • Replace and adjust components, including movements, crystals, crowns, and gaskets, as required.
  • Maintain meticulous records of all work carried out, ensuring accuracy in documentation.
  • Utilize specialized tools and equipment in accordance with company protocols.
  • Work closely with the servicing team to meet quality standards and achieve turnaround times.

Skills and Experience Required

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in watchmaking / watch assembly, specifically with luxury brands like Cartier, Omega, Rolex, Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet, and Richard Mille.
  • Expertise in servicing and repairing automatic chronograph watches, with the capability to handle higher-end models being a significant advantage.
  • Proficiency in using watchmaking tools and equipment, with a deep understanding of mechanical and automatic movements.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and manual dexterity.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Commitment to maintaining the integrity and authenticity of each timepiece serviced.
