Full job description

If the best part of your day is knowing you've made someone else's life a little easier, you'll understand this role.

Salary: £35,246 - £38,356 per annum, dependent on experience
Hours: 34 hours per week | Interim Contract
Location: Remote – UK working, with travel as required

As our Interim Care Systems Lead, you'll help colleagues across our homes get the very best from our care and clinical systems, giving them the tools, guidance and confidence they need to deliver safe, effective and person-centred care.

Whether you're solving a problem, supporting system improvements, delivering support sessions, producing reports or supporting a Home Manager, you'll help make life easier for colleagues so they can focus on what matters most – providing outstanding care for residents.

Our values are Kind, Supportive, and Trusted. They shape how we care for residents, support colleagues and lead our teams. If you believe in empowering people and creating positive environments, you'll feel at home here

What You'll Gain

  • A welcoming, values-driven team
  • The opportunity to support care homes across England and Wales
  • 33 days paid holiday (rising to 38 days with long service)
  • Paid induction and ongoing training from day one
  • Discounts on shopping, gifts and family days out
  • Health cash plan for dental and eye care
  • Company pension scheme
  • Ongoing learning and development opportunities
  • Flexible, home-based working with regular travel and variety

What You'll Bring

  • A health or social care qualification
  • Experience working within a care home environment
  • Experience using electronic care planning, medication management and compliance systems
  • Experience of medication administration
  • Knowledge of Health and Social Care legislation and person-centred care
  • Strong IT skills with an interest in technology and systems
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
  • A patient, supportive and approachable style
  • Willingness to travel across England and Wales, including occasional overnight stays

A care systems-specific qualification, previous systems lead experience, experience working with systems providers to support system development and improvement, or experience with Access Care and Clinical, eMM or Care Compliance systems would be advantageous.

About the Role

In this role, you'll lead on the day-to-day support, development and optimisation of our care systems. You'll provide technical support, support staff using Care and Clinical, eMM and Care Compliance systems, develop system resources, produce reports and analysis, and work closely with operational teams and system providers to improve effectiveness.

You'll build strong relationships with colleagues across our homes, helping them gain confidence in using our systems while supporting improvements to care planning, medication management, compliance and governance processes. You'll also work closely with key stakeholders to support ongoing system development and improvement.

Why This Role Matters

Every care plan, medication record and quality improvement starts with the systems that support our homes. By helping colleagues use those systems confidently and effectively, you'll make it easier for them to focus on what matters most – delivering safe, person-centred care and support for residents.
