Full job description

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced General Practitioner to work flexible hours online. The position is entirely remote and can be fitted around other commitments. The service operates from 6 am to 11 pm 7 days a week.

Duties

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history reviews.
  • Use a combination of video, telephone and text-based consultations.
  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses across a broad spectrum of conditions.
  • Prescribe medication in accordance with best practices and clinical guidelines.
  • Refer to specialists, where appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with legal and organisational standards.
  • Educate patients on health management, preventive measures, and lifestyle modifications.

Requirements

  • Must be on the GMC GP register with a licence to practise.
  • Experience of digital healthcare is advantageous, but not essential.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to deliver empathetic patient messaging.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within our clinical team.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with medical guidelines.
