Full job description

Are you an ambitious sales professional with experience in healthcare, medical, or pharmaceutical sales? Do you have a proven track record of developing customer relationships, winning new business, and exceeding sales targets? If so, we would love to hear from you.

We are seeking a Territory Sales Manager – East of England and Home Counties to drive sales growth and expand market share across the NHS, Healthcare, and Hospitality sectors, promoting an innovative portfolio of hypochlorous acid products for hand hygiene and water management. This is a field-based role offering the opportunity to work with key decision-makers and play a pivotal role in improving infection prevention and control standards.

The Role

As Territory Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing territory business plans, building strong customer relationships, and identifying new growth opportunities within your region. You will engage with stakeholders including Infection Control teams, Procurement departments, Purchasing Managers, Domestic Services, and Stores teams to drive product adoption and long-term customer success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver territory business plans to achieve sales and revenue targets.
  • Identify, qualify, and convert new business opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
  • Promote the company's range of hypochlorous acid products across healthcare and hospitality environments.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and quotations.
  • Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to identify strategic opportunities.
  • Attend trade exhibitions, industry events, and customer meetings.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, sales forecasts, and pipeline reports.
  • Provide valuable market intelligence and competitor insights to support business growth.
  • Ensure all activities comply with relevant industry regulations, healthcare compliance standards, and health and safety requirements.

What We're Looking For

Essential

  • Proven success in medical, healthcare, or pharmaceutical sales.
  • Strong understanding of NHS procurement processes, supply chains, and framework agreements.
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently achieve or exceed sales targets.
  • Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and customer engagement skills.
  • Strong commercial awareness and understanding of healthcare environments.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams.
  • Full UK driving licence with no more than 3 penalty points.
  • Willingness to travel extensively throughout the territory.

Desirable

  • Degree in Business, Healthcare, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related discipline.
  • Previous experience within infection prevention and infection control sectors.
  • Experience selling into NHS Trusts, private healthcare providers, or hospitality organisations.
