Ideal Requirements for the Account Specialist

  • Proven success in a customer-facing sales or account management role, with a track record of achieving ambitious targets and building lasting customer relationships.
  • A strong understanding of the NHS and primary care landscape, with the ability to identify customer priorities and create meaningful, value-driven partnerships.
  • Excellent communication, influencing and presentation skills, enabling you to engage confidently with a wide range of healthcare professionals and stakeholders.
  • Commercially minded with strong account planning and analytical skills, using customer insights and data to identify opportunities and deliver tailored solutions.
  • ABPI qualified (or working towards qualification) with a passion for continuous learning, strong digital skills, and a commitment to delivering high standards of compliance and professionalism.

Role Responsibilities for the Account Specialist

  • Become the trusted strategic partner for healthcare customers, acting as their primary point of contact and connecting them with the expertise, education, and resources they need to improve patient care.
  • Build long-term partnerships with primary care networks and practices, developing tailored account plans that create mutual value and position you as a valued respiratory partner.
  • Drive customer-centred solutions by listening to customer needs, gathering insights, and co-creating innovative service improvements, educational initiatives, and partnership opportunities.
  • Champion a modern, multi-channel approach to customer engagement, combining face-to-face meetings with digital interactions to deliver a seamless and personalised customer experience.
  • Deliver commercial success while making a real difference, promoting a market-leading respiratory portfolio, achieving ambitious performance goals, and ensuring every interaction is ethical, compliant, and customer-focused.
