Medicolegal / Clinical Negligence Analyst

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Medicolegal / Clinical Negligence Analyst to join our team. This role involves evaluating clinical cases, analysing medical records, and providing expert assessments to support legal and insurance claims. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a solid understanding of medicolegal processes. This position offers an opportunity to work within a dynamic environment where attention to detail and professional integrity are paramount.

Responsibilities

  • Analyse medical records, reports, and other relevant documentation related to clinical negligence cases
  • Prepare detailed reports summarising findings and providing expert opinions on clinical standards of care
  • Collaborate with legal teams, medical professionals, and clients to ensure accurate case assessments
  • Utilise computer systems and specialised software such as SQL and Microsoft Excel to manage case data effectively
  • Maintain organised case files and documentation in compliance with data protection regulations
  • Support the development of case strategies through thorough analysis and research
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of analytical processes and reporting standards
  • Communicate complex medical information clearly and professionally to non-medical stakeholders

Skills

  • Proficient computer skills, including experience with SQL, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Office suite
