We are currently looking for an IP Paralegal to join our Manchester office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist lawyers with the preparation and filing of trade mark applications, oppositions, and renewals
  • Drafting cease and desist letters and handling infringement cases
  • Legal research
  • Assist with business development, including preparation for pitches
  • Conduct trade mark searches and provide analysis on potential conflicts and availability
  • Support in the drafting and review of IP agreements and legal documents
  • Manage and update client trade mark portfolios and databases
  • Assist in the preparation of litigation documents and case files for IP disputes
  • Liaise with clients, trade mark offices, and foreign associates to ensure smooth case management
  • Provide general administrative support to the IP team, including scheduling meetings and maintaining client correspondence

Requirements:

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in legal document preparation
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a client-focused approach
  • Strong academic record
  • Working from the Manchester office at least three days per week
