Dental receptionist – do you have what it takes?

An opportunity has arisen for a candidate with exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills to be the first port of call for customers at our friendly Luton-based dental practice.

The ideal candidate will be superbly presented, possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, and have bags of initiative. Dental experience is ideal but by no means essential, should you be the right candidate in all other respects.

Thorough training will be provided.

Overall role

  • To deliver the kind of welcome our patients and team expect, in line with brand standards and legal requirements
  • To ensure the reception operation runs smoothly and efficiently in line with the business vision and overall strategy
  • To assist the business to grow and attract new customers by converting opportunities and participating in marketing campaigns in line with planned growth objectives
  • To act as a champion and a positive point of contact for everyone in the business

Essential skills and experience

  • A caring and sympathetic nature
  • Exceptional communication skills (written, verbal, phone) – the ability to liaise between patients and other dental care professionals
  • A smart appearance and professional attitude

  • Excellent IT skills and the ability to learn new software quickly
