Full job description

Shephall Health Centre is looking to recruit a permanent Administrator

37.5 hours to be worked on various working patterns between the hours of 8am and 18.30 (weekly rotation will vary each week - 8.00 to 16.00 or 8.30 to 16.30 or 10.30 to 18.30).

This role involves communicating with the public in person, by phone or using IT applications. Identifying patient needs and directing them to the appropriate healthcare service to meet their needs. This is a mixture of patient facing and administration duties.

This is a busy but fulfilling role for those wishing to take pride in delivering great service and making a difference. Good IT skills and typing speed are required. Medical terminology knowledge is preferred.

Successful candidates must be good communicators, deliver messages in a polite and empathic manner, work well under pressure, be resilient and abide by strict confidentiality protocols.

Previous experience of working in a GP Practice and Systmone preferred but not essential.

Our team is dedicated and supportive and relevant training will be provided.
