Job Overview

We are looking for a competent, reliable and enthusiastic person to join our Practice Team in High Valleyfield Medical Practice. Immediate start available.

Experience of working in a GP surgery and the use of Docman and Emis is essential. Part time or Full Time hours can be considered.

Duties include general reception work, answering phones, typing, efficiently dealing with appointments and signposting where appropriate, and dealing with prescription requests, managing workflow, communicating in a clear and concise manner with GP's, patients and other health care professionals and a number of other administrative duties.

All applicants must be a team player and have flexibility between 8am and 6pm Mon - Fri to cover annual leave and sickness if required. The post is permanent, salary will be based on experience. Hours per week: 20-40 hours available.

Enhanced rate of pay up to £20 per hour available for staff with over 10 years NHS experience.
