Moorfield House is a super friendly and very busy GPs surgery with branches in Garforth and Rothwell. We have 10 permanent GPs supported by a team of nurses and other HCAs. We are currently looking for a people with a desire to join our reception team.

Depending on the hours contracted this role could work at either or both of our surgeries. Our practice hours are 8-6 Mon-Fri. Our reception team normally work either 8-1 or 1-6 shifts . This post will be required to work Mon 1 - 6, Tues 8-1, Wed 1 - 6, Fri 8 - 1. There are often opportunities for additional hours and overtime.

We are looking for a friendly, happy person who appreciates the need for patient confidentiality and wants to help care for our patients. Ideally you will have experience working in a similar reception type role, but what we value most is a joyful, happy, can do personality and a commitment to supporting our patients and practice family.

You will need to be very comfortable using IT but we will train you on our systems (previous S1 experience would be an avantage as would any time working in a GP surgey). You will need to have a lovely telephone manner and be genuinely caring and feel comfortable and be empathetic when communicating with people.

Successful candidates will need to undertake a DBS check (the cost of which will be covered by the surgery). A uniform is also provided.

Salary: £13.32 ph - pay review from April.

Holidays: 25 per annum (pro rata) + bank holidays (pro rata)

Both sites are accessible by public transport and free parking is available.
