Occupational Health Administrator

Sunderland | Office-Based | £26,465.40 per annum

We are seeking a highly organised and customer-focused Occupational Health Administrator to join our team in Sunderland. This is a fully office-based role incorporating both administrative and front-of-house reception duties, ideal for someone who enjoys a varied, people-facing position.

About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for managing Occupational Health cases whilst delivering a professional and welcoming reception service. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the function and providing an excellent experience for clients and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing and progressing Occupational Health cases in line with service level agreements
  • Handling enquiries via telephone, email, post, and face-to-face
  • Providing front desk reception support, including greeting visitors and managing appointments
  • Liaising daily with clients, health professionals, HR teams, and managers
  • Responding to internal and external queries in a timely and professional manner
  • Identifying and escalating issues to ensure the best possible outcomes

What We’re Looking For

Experience & Knowledge

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in administration, customer service, or reception
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and database systems
  • A basic understanding of Occupational Health or clinical environments (desirable)
  • Familiarity with clinical terminology would be advantageous
