Full job description

Philip Hardy Recruitment are searching for a Receptionist/Administrator to join our client, an independent, family-run premium hearing care company within the Stratford area.

You’ll use your proven previous experience as a Receptionist/Administrator to manage the reception area and provide a warm welcome to all patients.

This is a full-time, permanent position working Monday to Friday (9am to 5pm) with half-an-hour for lunch, while a parking permit is provided for a nearby car park.

The patients are at the heart of our client’s care and we are looking for someone who shares the same passion and dedication to providing the best levels of customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the reception area efficiently and process paperwork, while updating the patient database
  • Organise the registration process with the patient, answer the phone and deal with enquiries and bookings
  • Support the audiologists with administrative duties
  • Liaise with manufacturers, place orders and send-off repairs while keeping the tracking system updated
  • To carry out minor maintenance on hearing aid devices, which full training will be given

You will need:

  • Familiar with a customer-facing role and able to address quite complex questions for which you will receive training
  • We are looking for a confident person who enjoys working with the public, that can also maintain a high level of administrative excellence
  • You will be an experienced Receptionist/Administrator or Customer Service Representative, ideally with a background in the health care sector
  • Strong IT skills (databases and MS Office - Outlook, Word and Excel)
  • Able to keep accurate records to enable reporting in an efficient manner
  • Experience managing conflicting priorities and tight deadlines

Pay: £26,000.00 per year
