Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Dental Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing excellent customer service while managing administrative tasks in a busy dental practice. This role requires strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

  • Greet patients warmly and manage the reception area to ensure a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments, ensuring optimal use of the dentist's time.
  • Handle patient inquiries and provide information regarding services, procedures, and policies.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and manage billing processes efficiently.
  • Coordinate with dental staff to ensure smooth operation of daily activities.
  • Process payments and manage insurance claims as necessary.
  • Keep the reception area tidy and organised, ensuring all necessary materials are stocked.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and correspondence as required.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in an office or administrative role is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong focus on customer service.
  • Strong organisational abilities with attention to detail to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in using office software and dental practice management systems is an advantage.
  • Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
