Full job description

Frithwood Surgery is a semi-rural 7000 list size practice with its own Dispensary. We are looking for a part-time Medical Receptionist to join our busy, friendly team in a purpose built Surgery based in Bussage, near Stroud.

The ideal candidate will have excellent IT, administrative and communication skills. Some flexibility to work additional hours to cover holidays and sickness may be required.

Previous experience in a healthcare environment and of SystmOne clinical software would be desirable, but not essential. You will undertake a variety of reception and administrative duties to assist in the smooth running of the practice

You will receive, assist and direct patients in accessing the appropriate service or healthcare professional in a courteous, efficient and effective way.

You will offer general assistance to the practice team and project a positive and friendly image to patients and other visitors, either in person or on the telephone.
