Full job description

An exciting opportunity for someone to join our friendly team at Frimley Green Dental Practice. The ideal candidate would have knowledge and experience within a practice to include reception and administrative duties. The position is part-time.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • First port of call for patients to greet when they attend their appointment and talk them through the medical questionnaires
  • Excellent communication and organisation skills
  • Booking appointments at the end of a check up or over the phone
  • Phone triage for emergencies in order to book appointments with dentists in emergency slots or organise telephone consultations
  • Post operative phone calls the following day to ensure the patient is well and doesn’t have any questions
  • Full patient care including follow up and monitoring of records
  • Stock control and providing a list of materials for management to order
  • Holiday cover for colleagues

WORK HOURS & BENEFITS

  • Part time (25.5 hours per week) - Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays 08.00-17.30
  • Full support from a stable, helpful & friendly team of staff
  • On-going training available
  • Annual bonus on a scaling system based on number of years working at the practice

QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

  • Fully compliant patient centred care
  • Experience with Dentally software is ideal
  • Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
  • Strong communication skills and organisational skills
