York Clinic | Yorkshire Dental Suite

Location: 25 Haley’s Terrace, Clifton, York, YO31 8SB
Salary: £12,954.54 pro rata
Contract: Part-time, weekends
Hours: Saturday & Sunday, 8:30am to 6:00pm

The Opportunity

Yorkshire Dental Suite is a growing dental organisation focused on providing an exceptional experience for every patient who walks through our doors.

We are looking for a confident, friendly and professional Front of House to join our York clinic on a part-time weekend basis.

You’ll be the first person our patients see when they arrive, so you’ll play an important role in creating a welcoming and professional environment. You’ll also support the wider clinic team behind the scenes, helping everything run smoothly throughout the day.

Your Role

As a Front of House team member, you’ll be responsible for the smooth running of reception and supporting the patient journey from arrival through to departure.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Welcoming patients and providing a warm, professional first impression
  • Managing the reception area and ensuring it remains welcoming and organised
  • Answering incoming calls and handling patient enquiries
  • Managing bookings and supporting clinician diaries
  • Processing payments and completing general administrative tasks
  • Liaising with clinicians and the wider team to support the smooth running of the clinic
  • Providing a consistently high level of patient service throughout the day

About You

We’re looking for someone who is naturally friendly, organised and confident when dealing with people.

You’ll ideally have:

  • Previous reception, customer service or hospitality experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A professional and approachable manner
  • Strong organisation and attention to detail
  • The ability to stay calm and organised in a busy environment
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed
  • A genuine focus on providing a great customer and patient experience

Previous dental or healthcare experience would be beneficial, but isn’t essential. Full training will be provided.
