Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Administrator specialising in Insurance Reports, Medical Records, and Information Requests. This role involves managing sensitive data, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations, and providing exceptional customer service. The successful candidate will play a vital part in supporting our healthcare or insurance team by efficiently processing information requests and maintaining accurate records. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong organisational skills and IT proficiency to contribute to a professional environment dedicated to quality service delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and process insurance reports, medical records, and information requests promptly and accurately.
  • Utilise computer systems, including SystemOne and Microsoft Office applications, to retrieve, update, and maintain data.
  • Analyse data to identify discrepancies or irregularities, ensuring data integrity and compliance with privacy standards.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and internal teams to clarify information needs and provide updates on request status.
  • Maintain organised electronic and paper filing systems for easy retrieval of records.
  • Ensure all documentation complies with relevant legal and confidentiality requirements.
  • Support the team by providing leadership in process improvements and training new staff members as required.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in administrative roles within healthcare, insurance, or related sectors.
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office and SystemOne.
  • Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Outstanding communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Customer service orientation with the ability to handle sensitive information discreetly.
  • Good IT knowledge including familiarity with health information systems and data security protocols.

Pay: £12.71 per hour
