  • Job Title: Medical Devices Territory Sales Specialist (Pelvic Health)
  • Job Reference: DSM-NW-080926
  • Responsible to: National Sales Manager
  • Salary: £35,000-45,000 (depending on experience) and open-ended commission.
  • Employment status: Permanent/Full-time
  • Working pattern: 4 day week (8am to 4.30pm)-non-working day, Monday
  • Location: Field-based within the territory. Territory is the East & West Midlands and the Northwest.
  • Driving license: A full, clean UK driving license
  • Residency & Right to Work: Applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK at the time of the application. We are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this role.
  • Benefits: Four-day work week, 6.6 weeks (including bank holidays) paid annual leave per year, company pension, bonus annual leave for long service, health cash plan, death in service, and annual leave purchase scheme. A Company Car (EV), will be provided.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

Procurement & NHS Knowledge

  • NHS Sales Experience: Proven track record of successful sales directly into the NHS.
  • Procurement Pathways: An operational understanding of NHS procurement processes, including framework agreements.
  • Value-Based Selling: Confident in building data-driven business arguments and aligning clinical vs. financial decision-making products/services in line with NHS targets.

Commercial & Territory Sales Expertise

  • Territory Management: Experienced in autonomously managing and growing a designated geographical territory, with structured account planning and pipeline management within the healthcare sector. Applicants with no experience but a strong clinical or medical technical background with an aptitude for sales will also be considered.
  • Capital equipment sales and/or bladder/bowel experience (desirable)
  • Stakeholder Management: Confident communicating with, influencing, and presenting to diverse stakeholders, from clinical end-users (surgeons, nurses, department leads) to Medical Engineers and Procurement Directors.
  • Results-Driven: A history of meeting or exceeding sales targets and key performance indicators within the medical or healthcare sector.
  • Located in the defined territory (essential)
  • Qualified to a minimum of A-level standard or equivalent
