Who We Are at Drive Medical
Drive Medical has become a leading manufacturer of medical products with a strong and consistent track record of growth achieved both organically and through acquisitions. We are proud of our high-quality, diverse product portfolio, channel footprint and global operating scale. Our products are sold into the homecare, long-term care, retail, and e-commerce channels in more than 100 countries around the world.
“Leading the World with Innovative Solutions that Enhance Lives”
Are you a commercially driven account manager who thrives on building strong customer relationships and delivering profitable growth? We are looking for an Internal Account Manager to join our Retail Sales team on a 6-month fixed-term contract.
In this role, you will provide strategic, desk-based account management and business development support to our national and multi-chain retail customers. Working across Drive's full portfolio of products and services, you will develop collaborative business plans, strengthen customer relationships, increase category penetration, and identify new growth opportunities.
You will be responsible for managing and developing key retail accounts, achieving revenue, margin and profitability targets, and ensuring customers receive an exceptional service experience. Using CRM and business intelligence tools, you will maintain accurate account plans, monitor performance, identify market trends, and provide valuable commercial insights to help drive business success.
We're looking for a motivated sales professional who can demonstrate a strong track record of achieving commercial targets in a retail or account management environment. You will be confident influencing buying decisions, building relationships at all levels, and managing multiple priorities effectively. Strong communication, planning, analytical and organisational skills are essential, alongside a customer-first approach and a passion for delivering results.
Our successful candidate will embody Drive's values by being accessible, responsive, knowledgeable, trustworthy and committed to providing the highest standards of service. We are particularly interested in individuals who demonstrate the qualities of being Hungry, Humble and Smart in their approach to customers, colleagues and business growth.
This hybrid role offers flexibility, with a typical working pattern of two days in the office and three days working from home, plus occasional customer visits.
If you're ready to make an immediate impact and help drive growth across our retail customer base, we'd love to hear from you.
Why You'll Love Working With Us
We’re not sharing the salary just yet, but it’s competitive and worth talking about. What really makes us stand out is how proud our team is of the work they do. We make sure that dedication is recognized, not just with pay, but with great benefits and support.
Here’s what you can look forward to, beyond the salary:
- Generous Annual Leave – 26 days to start, rising to 28 with service, plus your birthday off every year! You can also buy, sell, or carry over leave to suit your lifestyle.
- Pension Scheme – Helping you plan for a secure future.
