Looking for a new direction within dentistry?
Are you a Dental Nurse, Practice Manager or Dental Professional looking for a change, while still wanting to use your knowledge and experience within the dental industry?
Next Dental is a fast-growing UK dental supplier, providing dental materials and sundries to thousands of practices nationwide. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a motivated and commercially minded Sales Executive to join our team and help drive the next stage of our development.
This is a fantastic opportunity to move into a sales-focused role within the dental sector, using your existing industry knowledge to build customer relationships, generate new business and support the growth of the company.
The Role
You will work closely with our sales and marketing teams to develop new business, strengthen existing customer relationships and contribute to our wider sales strategy.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing Customer Accounts, contacting new and existing customers by telephone, email and social media.
- Identifying and developing new sales opportunities.
- Creating, managing and converting sales leads.
- Building strong, long-term relationships with dental practices and customers.
- Working towards agreed sales targets and business objectives.
- Supporting the development and execution of the company sales plan.
- Working closely with the marketing team to support campaigns and identify new opportunities.
- Helping to develop new sales channels and areas of business growth.
- Supporting customers with product enquiries and recommendations.
- Working collaboratively with the wider team to deliver a high level of customer service.
About You
We are looking for someone who is confident, personable and highly motivated, with a genuine interest in sales and business development.
Previous sales experience would be beneficial, but it is not essential if you have strong dental industry knowledge, excellent communication skills and the drive to succeed.
You will ideally have:
- Previous experience within the dental industry, for example as a Dental Nurse, Practice Manager or in Dental Sales.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A confident and professional telephone manner.
- The ability to build rapport and develop strong customer relationships.
- A proactive approach to generating and following up sales opportunities.
- High levels of drive, self-motivation and initiative.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Confidence using IT systems, email and social media.
- Experience using CRM or sales software would be advantageous.
- A strong commitment to providing excellent customer service.
- A positive, collaborative approach to working as part of a close-knit team.
