Full job description

We are an innovative community service offering NHS gynaecology services to patients in Herts Valleys CCG and Barnet CCG. This role is varied and will involve mainly administrative duties and telephone duties at the hub along with face to face contact with patients on reception. Chaperoning patients during the clinics for gynaecological consultations is also required. There is a lot of job satisfaction in working with patients and requires the applicant to be friendly, helpful and empathetic.

Candidates must have good customer facing skills as well as being proficient in IT. Training will be given on the IT system used but candidates must be familiar with Microsoft office programmes.

Candidates must have an ability and willingness to learn, strong attention to detail involving patient records and a very flexible approach to work.

The role is primarily based in London Colney, but will involve some travel to satellite clinics so a car is essential.

The role is primarily Mon-Fri ( mixture of 9-2pm and 1-6pm )but does involve up to 1 weekend day shift per month. The average part time hours will therefore be 30hrs per week.
