The role is based at The New Foscote Hospital, Banbury.

107 Harley Street, is an outpatient, diagnostic and day-case facility. The Group has had a presence in the Harley Street area since 2010. The treatments offered at this facility includes oral and maxillofacial surgery, dermatology, orthodontics and specialist dentistry, plastic and cosmetic surgery, general surgery and rheumatology.

The clinical outcomes of the hospital group are of the highest standards and the latest CQC report rated our hospital standards as ‘good’ across all parameters. Our organisation has strong IT, operational, clinical governance and accountancy support. All colleagues are encouraged to feel empowered and to have an active voice on the management of their services.

Role Purpose:

As a Radiology Coordinator, you will be working alongside the team by assisting with the booking and onboarding of patients for radiological examinations such as MRI, X-Ray, CT and ultrasound.

You will help to ensure the delivery of high-quality, efficient, and patient-centred services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attention to detail.
  • Treat all patients and relatives with reassurance, respect, great care and dignity.
  • Handling & receiving phone calls from patients and assisting them with a variety of enquiries including booking, rescheduling and cancelling appointments.
  • Answering phone calls in a courteous and timely manner within a busy office environment.
  • Book patients on the Compucare database, radiology and imaging systems.
  • Ensure appointments are coordinated with radiographers.
  • For all private patients, ensure payments are taken at the time of the booking.
  • To proactively ensure all data held on the systems is accurate and up to date.
  • To ensure that communication links are maintained with internal staff, GPs, consultants, patients and other organisations to ensure swift resolution of any potential appointment/clinic issues.
  • To be responsible for contacting patients by telephone to remind them of pending appointments, changes and cancellations where possible re-negotiating appointments resulting from a hospital/patient-initiated cancellations.
  • Full training be given.
  • Monitor workflow processes to ensure efficient service delivery.

Strategic Development:

  • Contribute to the development of the department's strategic plan.
  • Identify opportunities for service improvement and innovation.
  • Collaborate with other departments to optimize patient care pathways.
