Full job description
We are seeking a motivated, approachable Personal Assistant to provide high-quality, confidential support to senior colleagues within our Clinical Quality Directorate, helping meetings, communications and priorities run smoothly.
This is a great opportunity for someone with strong diary management, minute-taking and organisational skills to play a key role within the Directorate. Working collaboratively with colleagues across YAS and the wider NHS, you will need to be a confident communicator who can manage competing priorities with discretion and initiative. If you are passionate about supporting services that make a real difference to patients and staff, we would love to hear from you.
The role requires provision of a high-level, confidential and comprehensive administration service to key senior members within the Clinical Quality Directorate. Responsibilities include the management of diaries and email inboxes, processing correspondence, arranging visits and making travel arrangements.
The role-holder will need excellent minute-taking skills and outstanding communication and organisational skills, to enable them to coordinate arrangements and manage priorities.
They will be responsible for maintaining records and collating and distributing papers for meetings, as well as taking minutes and coordinating meeting action logs. They will need to be self-motivated and be able to use their own initiative, whilst also being a team player.
Yorkshire Ambulance Service (YAS) NHS Trust geographically covers nearly 6,000 square miles of varied terrain, from isolated moors and dales to urban areas, coastline and inner cities.
We serve a population of over five million people across Yorkshire and the Humber and strive to ensure that patients receive the right response to their care needs as quickly as possible, wherever they live.
We employ more than 7,100 staff, who together with over 1,300 volunteers, enable us to provide a vital 24-hour, seven-days-a-week, emergency and healthcare service.
Our ambition is to be an employer of choice, and we are continuously working across our partnership to improve our collective offer to staff in areas like health and wellbeing, benefits and flexible working incl. hybrid working.
