Location: Rayleigh, Essex
Hours: Full Time | Monday-Friday (with participation in the on-call rota)
Help us deliver outstanding care whilst shaping the future of our growing service.
At Kinect Services, we believe great care starts with great coordination.
We're looking for an organised, proactive and commercially minded Care Coordinator who can balance exceptional client care with efficient operational delivery. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing organisation where you'll have the chance to influence how we work, improve processes and make a genuine difference to the lives of the people we support.
This isn't just about filling rotas.
It's about understanding how every decision impacts our clients, our care teams and the long-term success of the business.
About the Role
We provide approximately 1000 hours of care each week, and you'll be responsible for coordinating high-quality domiciliary care services, ensuring clients receive safe, person-centred support whilst making sure our operations remain efficient, responsive and sustainable.
Working closely with our Registered Manager, Care Manager and wider team, you'll become the central point of coordination for clients, carers and stakeholders.
Every day will be different, from coordinating new care packages and managing changing client needs to supporting payroll, planning capacity and helping us continuously improve the way we work.
What You'll Be Doing
You'll be responsible for:
- Coordinating and maintaining efficient care rotas.
- Allocating visits based on client needs, continuity of care and staff competencies.
- Managing day-to-day operational changes, including sickness, annual leave and emergencies.
- Supporting the mobilisation of new care packages.
- Maintaining excellent relationships with clients, families and professionals.
- Preparing payroll and supporting invoicing processes.
- Monitoring operational performance and key performance indicators.
- Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and maximise capacity.
- Supporting compliance with CQC standards and company policies.
- Participating in our out-of-hours on-call rota.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is:
- Highly organised with excellent planning skills.
- Calm under pressure and able to prioritise effectively.
- Passionate about delivering outstanding care.
- Commercially aware and understands the impact operational decisions have on performance.
- Confident using technology and keen to embrace digital systems and AI.
- A natural problem solver who enjoys improving processes.
- An excellent communicator who builds positive relationships.
Essential Experience
- Experience within domiciliary care.
- Previous care coordination or rota management experience.
- Good understanding of CQC Fundamental Standards and safeguarding.
- Excellent IT and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities.
Why Join Kinect?
We're not standing still.
As we continue to grow, we're investing in our people, technology and ways of working.
You'll be joining a supportive leadership team that values ideas, encourages innovation and gives people the opportunity to influence how services are delivered.
In return you'll receive:
- Competitive salary.
- Career development opportunities.
- Supportive and collaborative team.
- Opportunity to influence how the department develops.
- Investment in technology and AI to make your job easier.
- A business committed to continuous improvement.
We don't just want someone who can keep the service running.
We're looking for someone who wants to make it better.
If you're passionate about delivering excellent care, enjoy solving problems and want to play an important role in the future of a growing organisation, we'd love to hear from you.
Pay: £32,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
