Hours: Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm

Summary of the Role:

Based at de Le Cuona's Fabrics Warehouse in Windsor, you will be required to maintain, and drive the production of sampling and bespoke products and processes to ensure the highest level of quality and productivity ongoing. Achieve and ensure the highest level of Quality Control and Productivity of products and sampling, to ensure the de Le Cuona brand is presented in the best manner for onward shipment to our international clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage relationships with tailors on the production of accessories e.g. cushions
  • Ensure the quality of in and out going productions and sampling including product specification and packaging for onward shipment
  • Ensure all packing materials including boxes, plastic bags, tissue paper, cushion pads, and production components are in stock and stored in the best condition
  • Ensure all sampling is labelled and processed including steaming and pressing when necessary
  • Input data and work with information on our production manager software and SAP Business One
  • Cut and inspect fabrics on the cutting machines when required
  • Cover other warehouse team members when they are absent
  • Print all labels for headers, accessories, and furniture
  • Ensure accurate warehouse inventories and controls are maintained with regular cycle counts; including stock, packaging, and components to ensure de Le Cuona products are produced to the highest standard and specification within deadlines set
  • Provide weight and other information regarding parcels to Shipping clerk
  • Cover production and sampling team members during absences. Ensure working environment and warehouse standards are maintained and presented in the best manner
  • Resolve problems and imperfections when required with Production Team Leader in-line with our quality management process
  • Ensure resources and fabrics are worked with efficiently with minimum waste
  • Co-ordinate the use of automated and computerised systems as necessary including production manager and shipping
  • Work with different textiles and ensure the best use of the fabric with low wastage. Pattern match
  • The ability to operate a sewing machine including semi-automated stand up machines and over-lock machines..
  • Competent in fixing problems relating to machinery and stitching of fabric
  • Ensuring fabric orders, sampling, and productions requested are prepared and prioritised in a manner for maximum efficiency; ideally ahead of deadlines
  • Ad-hoc duties when required to meet the needs’ of the business

Candidate Requirements:

  • Experience of using an over-lock sewing machine essential.
  • Proficient in sewing techniques and practices
  • Excellent planning and organisation skills
  • Can do Attitude
  • Strong communication skills for effective teamwork
  • Previous experience in a warehouse environment
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality control
  • Capable of working in a fast-paced setting and managing multiple tasks

Pay: £26,500.00-£28,000.00 per year
