Full job description

Disability Assessor
Location: Oxford
Salary: £50,000 (+1k at 12 months - Performance based)
Nurses | OTs | Physios
Full Time - Hybrid - Monday-Friday, 9 - 5
Part time options - 3 or 4 days


The Role:
  • Assessing claimants health & daily living via phone and face-to-face appointments.
  • WCA - Work Capability Assessments - assess daily activities, functional ability and work related activities - claimants will be seeking universal credit/employment support allowance
  • Use your critical thinking and clinical reasoning skills
  • Reviewing medical evidence & compiling detailed reports for the DWP
  • Using your clinical expertise in a role that values quality, not speed

Who We’re Looking For:
  • Registered Adult Nurse, Registered Mental health nurse, Registered Learning disability nurse, occupational therapist or Physiotherapist
  • Minimum 1-year post-registration experience in an adult setting
  • NMC/HCPC registered
  • Confident communicator & report writer – IT literate
