As an Adult Clinical Assessor, you'll use your clinical knowledge and professional judgement to conduct telephone and face-to-face assessments on behalf of the DWP.
You'll explore how health conditions and disabilities affect an individual's daily life and functional ability, review medical evidence and produce clear, objective reports.
No previous assessor experience required — full paid training is provided.

What You'll Be Doing
You'll use the clinical skills you already have to:
- Conduct telephone and face-to-face assessments
- Review medical evidence and supporting information
- Assess the impact of health conditions and disabilities on daily life
- Apply your clinical knowledge and professional judgement
- Produce accurate, evidence-based reports
This is an assessment and report-writing role — not hands-on clinical care.
Who Can Apply?
We're looking for UK-registered healthcare professionals with:
- NMC, HCPC or GPhC registration
- At least 1 year of post-registration adult clinical experience
- Strong communication and report-writing skills
- Good IT skills
- Confidence working independently and managing your workload
Suitable backgrounds include Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Paramedicine and Pharmacy.
