Mobility Specialist: City Mobility

City Mobility has been helping people across the Highlands and North East of Scotland maintain their independence for many years. As part of Advanced Healthcare Group, alongside Able Care and Allardyce Healthcare, we're now looking for an experienced and customer-focused Mobility Specialist to join our team in Inverness.

This is a varied, hands-on role for someone who enjoys working directly with customers and making a genuine difference. You'll spend time both in our Inverness showroom and out across the region, meeting customers in their own homes, understanding their individual needs and recommending and demonstrating mobility equipment that can help them live more independently.

There is no hard-sell approach. We want someone who can build trust, understand people's needs and provide knowledgeable, professional advice.

You'll work across products including mobility scooters, powered wheelchairs and other mobility and independent-living equipment, as well as supporting customers through the Motability Scheme.

What you'll be doing

• Carrying out customer assessments and product demonstrations in the showroom and customers' homes
• Advising customers on suitable mobility and independent-living solutions
• Supporting Motability customers through the assessment and sales process
• Building strong relationships with customers, families and healthcare professionals
• Following up enquiries and opportunities and providing an excellent customer experience
• Supporting outreach, events and local business development
• Developing strong product and industry knowledge through ongoing training
• Working closely with colleagues across City Mobility and the wider Advanced Healthcare Group

About you

We're interested in people with strong customer-facing or consultative sales experience who are comfortable working independently and building relationships.

Previous experience within mobility, healthcare, medical equipment or a related sector would be particularly valuable, although we'd also be interested in someone with the right customer approach and transferable experience.

You'll need a full UK driving licence and be comfortable travelling throughout the Highlands, Moray and Grampian, with occasional longer journeys and overnight stays. This reflects the geographic coverage in the existing role.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Location: Inverness, with regular travel throughout the Highlands, Moray and Grampian

Pay: £24,765.00-£28,900.00 per year
