Restaurant/ F&B Manager

The Rectory Hotel, Crudwell, Malmesbury. Near to Cirencester

Pay: Up to £40,000.00 per year plus a share of service charge

Job Summary

The highly acclaimed Rectory hotel in Crudwell, just outside Cirencester is looking for an outstanding Restaurant/ F&B Manager to lead the dynamic team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an assistant manager or already restaurant/ F&B manager to take on a high profile and award winning property.

With a fantastic reputation for food, cocktails and personal service from great staff, The Rectory Hotel is also renowned for its unique character and sense of fun. The Rectory has 16 bedrooms, a classic cocktail bar, outdoor heated swimming pool and a 60 seater restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner.A stones throw from the hotel is the Potting Shed Pub (sister property to The Rectory) serving fantastic honest British food, again locally sourced, but geared to the fun and fast paced vibe of a high end pub.

Experience is a must for this role as you need to hit the ground running to be part of a really passionate team.

What we are looking for:

- Proven hospitality experience

- Organised with the ability to multi-task

- Keen eye for detail

- Computer literate with a knowledge of booking systems and staff management

- Flexibility and problem solving

- A great communicator with both guests and the rest of the team

- Someone who appreciates that training is key

- Engagement with Head chef/ kitchen is essential

Responsibilities include:

- Being the face of the Rectory

- take the team forward through organised and consistent leadership.

- Drive 5* standards through everything that you do

- Weekly duties such as stock counts, ordering, menu development, rotas, reporting, chairing weekly meetings.

- Cashing up

- Knowledge of and engagement with health & safety & fire procedures.

- Overseeing the presentation of the building and grounds

Salary- up to £40,000 plus a share of service charge

Hours- Contracted 48 hours per week across a 5 day working week. Weekends required.

Pay: Up to £40,000.00 per year
