Due to our continued growth, we are looking to recruit two enthusiastic and motivated Senior Primary School Sports Coaches to join our expanding team.

About the Role

Working across a number of primary schools throughout Northamptonshire and Milton Keynes, you will deliver high-quality PE lessons, sports coaching and extracurricular activities for children from Reception through to Year 6.

As a Senior Sports Coach, you will be expected to demonstrate professionalism, lead by example and deliver engaging lessons that inspire every child to participate, develop and enjoy being active.

Successful candidates will receive a comprehensive induction and bespoke training programme, ensuring you have the confidence and knowledge to deliver exciting, educational and inclusive sessions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver outstanding PE lessons aligned to the National Curriculum.
  • Plan and deliver engaging sports coaching sessions across a variety of activities.
  • Lead breakfast, lunchtime and after-school clubs.
  • Inspire children of all abilities to participate, develop and enjoy sport.
  • Create a safe, inclusive and positive learning environment.
  • Build excellent relationships with schools, teachers, parents and pupils.
  • Maintain the highest standards of safeguarding, professionalism and behaviour.
  • Support the continued development of The Freestyle Group's programmes and reputation.

Essential Requirements

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Access to your own vehicle.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Level 2 National Governing Body (NGB) Coaching Qualification (support can be provided to achieve this).
  • Relevant sports coaching, teaching or childcare qualifications.
  • Paediatric First Aid.
  • Safeguarding and Child Protection Training.
  • Experience coaching sport and/or working with children.
  • Experience working within a school or childcare environment.
