Head Sports Coach (Primary Schools)

Pay: £14.56

Hours: 20.25 hours per week, 39 weeks of the year (Term time)

Location: Kidderminster

The Role …

LSC is the largest provider of PPA cover across the UK and we are looking for a Head Sports Coach to join our team of subject specialists in our Midlands region. Our Head Sports Coaches deliver high quality PE lessons in primary schools ensuring children are developing and engaging in physical activity and finding their very own passion for sport.

During term time your day will be made up of delivering structured PE lessons in one of our partner schools, lunch time clubs and after school clubs plus some downtime to get your own planning and preparation done.

We also run our newly revamped Holiday Clubs which our coaches also lead or support on and this is where you can get really creative and have some fun! Therefore there is opportunity to work all year round!

We’d love to meet someone …

Who is a skilled passionate Head Sports Coach who wants to deliver engaging lessons in primary schools without excessive paperwork, who is comfortable with lessons covering the Physical Education National Curriculum. You'll have the ability to engage and get children excited about their PE lessons and instil the positive impact exercise can have on their lives, and lives by our core values:

Requirements

  • Physical Education or Sports Coaching Degree

  • Minimum of Level 2 National Governing Body Coaching Qualifications

  • 2 years PE delivery experience in UK primary schools

  • Current and in date Safeguarding & First Aid Training (desirable)

  • Valid DBS clearance
