If you thrive in a busy environment, take pride in your work, and have a positive, can-do attitude, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Kitchen Porter, you will be responsible for helping to keep our kitchen operating efficiently and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Your duties will include:

  • Washing, sanitising and storing service ware and kitchen equipment.
  • Maintaining exceptional hygiene standards throughout food preparation and service areas.
  • Cleaning work surfaces, walls, floors, ovens and kitchen equipment.
  • Emptying and cleaning waste bins while managing recycling and rubbish disposal.
  • Assisting chefs with basic food preparation tasks, including washing, peeling and preparing ingredients.
  • Receiving, unloading and storing deliveries correctly and safely.
  • Organising and maintaining storage areas, refrigerators and freezers.
  • Adhering to all health, safety and food hygiene procedures.
  • Supporting colleagues across the kitchen team to create a positive and productive working environment.
  • Upholding and promoting Club policies, procedures and values.

What We're Looking For

Essential

  • Experience working in a professional kitchen environment, ideally in a similar role.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • A positive, solution-focused attitude with a strong work ethic.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining exceptional standards.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and Public Holidays when required.
  • Own transport due to the remote location of the Training Ground.

Desirable

  • Level 2 Food Safety Qualification (or above).

Why Join Leicester City Football Club?
