Future Restaurant Manager

Location: TorquaySalary: £28,000 per yearJob Type: Full Time, Permanent

Ready for your next step in hospitality?

We are opening an exciting new restaurant in Torquay and are looking for an ambitious Future Restaurant Manager to join us from day one.

This role is ideal for a Shift Leader, Supervisor or Assistant Manager who is ready to take the next step and develop into a full Restaurant Manager.

You will receive hands-on training, work closely with the owner and gradually take responsibility for the full restaurant operation.

Your responsibilities

  • Lead shifts and motivate the team.
  • Deliver excellent customer service.
  • Support recruitment and staff training.
  • Manage stock, ordering and food waste.
  • Help control labour and food costs.
  • Maintain high food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Ensure the restaurant is clean, organised and ready for service.
  • Handle customer feedback professionally.
  • Support sales growth and local marketing.
  • Help build a positive and accountable team culture.

What we are looking for

  • Previous hospitality or restaurant experience.
  • Supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
  • Reliable, organised and professional.
