Founded in 2018, we now have four restaurants in Colchester, Chelmsford, and Ipswich and Norwich! We've become one of East Anliga's busiest and most loved dining spots. Our mission is to serve great pizza and deliver exceptional service to every guest - just check out our reviews!

What We Offer:

· £14-14.50ph depending on experience, plus equal share of tips which work out around £3.50-4ph

We are also closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day, with half shifts on Christmas Eve and New Years Eve.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Pizza Chef at Moto Pizza, you'll be prepping everything fresh each day with the best Italian ingredients. We make our dough in-house each day and you'll be working with wood-fired oven.

As an independent restaurant you will have the freedom to add your own creative flare and come up with new pizzas for us to serve! You'll be at the heart of our operations, helping to create a warm and welcoming experience for our guests.

Your other responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Team Collaboration: Work seamlessly with both kitchen staff and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth service, effective communication, and a unified approach to delivering an exceptional guest experience.
• Kitchen Operations: Oversee daily kitchen operations, including maintaining a clean and organized workspace and ensuring all equipment is in proper working order.
• Food Safety Compliance: Adhere to food hygiene and safety regulations, including proper storage, labelling, and handling of ingredients.
• Stock Management: Monitor inventory levels, place orders for ingredients, and reduce waste by effectively managing stock.
• Team Leadership: Support and guide junior kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
• Quality Control: Perform regular checks on food presentation, taste, and portion sizes to ensure standards are consistently met.
• Problem Solving: Address and resolve any issues that arise during service, such as delays or supply shortages, with a calm and proactive approach.
• Customer Satisfaction: Take pride in the dishes you prepare, contributing to an exceptional dining experience for every guest.
