We have an exciting opportunity for a Healthcare Assistant to join our Primary Care team at HMP Onley, a category C prison located in Warwickshire.
Hours
1 weekend in 3
0700 - 19.30 - Monday- Thursday shifts
0700 - 18.30 - Friday- Sunday Shifts
This position is full time, you’ll receive an annual salary up to £29,723 per annum

Candidates are required to have a Legal right to work in the UK and due to the nature of the role, offers of employment will be subject to additional vetting and security checks
What you'll be doing
- Support the registered nurse in implementing an agreed plan of care in association with the patient and in accordance with instructions and training received whilst promoting safe patient care
- Be willing to develop and apply new skills to maintain and enhance clinical service delivery.

Qualifications required
- NVQ level 2/3 or equivalent in Health and Social Care
- A non-judgmental and compassionate approach
- Excellent communication skills
- Good IT skills and IT literacy
- Ability to work within a busy environment
- Ability to work unsupervised whilst following policy and procedures
Although not essential ideal applicants would have experience in a hospital, community or prison environment
